D.I.Y Favor Box

Here is another Laser Cut By the Sheet D.I.Y project! All you have to do is choose your own design (offered through our website), follow these simple steps, and enjoy yourself! This D.I.Y Favor Box is designed to compliment any special occasion!  

Here are the supplies you will need:

• Laser Cut Sheet
• Translucent candy bag
• Treats to put inside the candy bag
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Glue or Stapler
• Ribbon 

Follow the steps below 

                                                                      

 

                          

 Step 2: Cut along the 13"length, removing the  excess stock to the right. Then, measure 3" to the right, and cut along the 13"length. 

 

 

Step 5: Fold your Laser Cut sheet to mimic this display.

                       

           Step 6: Trim favor bag.

 

 

       

 

Step 8: Staple/Glue the favor box to ensure it's secured.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Step 9: Show your personal style by adding a bow!

 

Here is your finished Favor box, available in different designs to fit any celebration!

Paper Orchid launches NEW 2016 design collections

We did it! Our 2016 product line has been launched. All products are live on our website and sample packages to our wholesalers are in the mail. Yay! Now we are rushing to finish up our new 2016 full color catalog that will be ready in about 2-3 weeks.

We had an early introduction of our first collection, Chantilly Lace, which has had a phenomenal response. There are four more design collections this season: Roses, Willow, Tuscan, and Crocus Spirals. When we launch new collections we start with an invitation and one other coordinating product until we know what our customers are drawn to. Once a design is in demand we start adding more pieces like accessory/RSVP cards, place cards, favor boxes, etc. We want to embrace the one-stop shopping experience so please contact us if you would like a specific product added to a collection.

Welcome to Paper Orchid’s new blog.  I’m Kathrine and I can’t wait to share the most elegant wedding invitations in the market today.  But first a little background …. We are a Sonoma County based company who has specialized in laser cutting paper since the late 80’s.  In 2004 we decided to expand our business by launching our own wholesale laser cut product line.  We pulled a team together, which I was fortunate enough to be a part of; and we created a laser cut wedding invitation business that was launched at the 2005 New York Stationery Show.  Our line includes invitations with coordinating accessory cards, place cards, favor boxes, and note cards, and wedding cupcake wrappers.  We also have holiday cards and seasonal cupcake wrappers, all designed and manufactured here in Santa Rosa, California.

I love paper and I am very passionate about what we create here at Paper Orchid.  Lately we have been very busy getting ready for the 2016 product launch.  I am so excited!  I just have to share our first design collection from this upcoming line.  Chantilly Lace!  This delicate lace detail is transformed into paper via the magic of our laser cutting.
